Qualifying

Weight loss surgery is an elective surgery. Patients must have a body mass index of 35 or greater. The surgical pathway begins with your attendance at an informative education session. At this session, you will meet one of the surgeons and be provided an opportunity to learn about the surgical options for weight loss and have your questions answered. You will complete an information form at the session and provide us with your insurance information. The managed care coordinator will contact your insurance company to determine what your particular insurance coverage is. The managed care coordinator will then contact you to make the appointment for your initial consultation.
