John B. Cleek, MD

Undergraduate School: Duke University

Medical School: Medical College of Georgia

Residency: Carolinas Medical Center

Board Certified: Internal Medicine and Bariatrics

John B. Cleek, MD, has been with Carolinas HealthCare System since 1985. He provides bariatric medical services to patients in need of weight management counseling in a medically supervised environment.

Dr. Cleek is board certified in internal medicine and bariatrics. He currently serves as medical director of Carolinas Weight Management.

Dr. Cleek is a member of the American Board of Bariatric Medicine (ABBM), the North American
Association for the Study of Obesity (NAASO), the American Medical Association (AMA), the American Society of Bariatric Physicians (ASBP) and the American College of Physicians (ACP).

Married and a father of two daughters, Dr. Cleek enjoys running in his free time.

                                                                                                                            

John Tomcho, DO, RD

Medical School: Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine

Residency: Geisinger Medical Center

Board Certified: Family Medicine and Bariatrics

John Tomcho, DO, RD, is a medical bariatrician at Carolinas Weight Management. He provides bariatric medical services to patients in need of weight management counseling in a medically supervised environment.

Dr. Tomcho is a member of the American Board of Bariatric Medicine (ABBM), the North American
Association for the Study of Obesity (NAASO), the American Medical Association (AMA), the American Society of Bariatric Physicians (ASBP), the American College of Physicians (ACP) and the American Dietetic Association (ADA).

Married and a father of three children, Dr. Tomcho enjoys cycling and hiking.
