Kathleen Hickey, MD, MS

Kathleen Hickey, MD, MS, is transforming the delivery of healthcare by creating lifelong relationships with patients. With a commitment to providing exceptional care, Dr. Hickey has clinical interests in weight management, nutrition and metabolism. Dr. Hickey is a member of the American Board of Obesity Medicine (ABOM), the American Society of Bariatric Physicians and the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND).
Lisa Summers, RD, MD
Medical School: The University of South Florida
Lisa Summers, RD, MD is helping to transform the delivery of healthcare by providing pediatric and adolescent weight management, counseling and nutrition at Carolinas Weight Management. She provides bariatric medical services to patients ages 6-19. Dr. Summers has an undergraduate degree in nutrition and dietetics and is a registered dietitian. Dr. Summers is also a pediatric gastroenterologist.
Dr. Summers is a member of the North American Society of Pediatric Gastroenterology (NASPGHAN), the Obesity Action Coalition (OAC), the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND), the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS) and the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA).
John Tomcho, DO, RD
Undergraduate School: Marywood University
Dr. Tomcho is a member of the American Board of Bariatric Medicine (ABBM), the North American Association for the Study of Obesity (NAASO), the American Medical Association (AMA), the American Society of Bariatric Physicians (ASBP), the American College of Physicians (ACP) and the American Dietetic Association (ADA).
Married and a father of three children, Dr. Tomcho enjoys cycling and hiking.
