Our Administrative Support Team

Center Director: Constance Simms, RN, CBN

Connie is the director of Carolinas Weight Management & Wellness Center. In addition to her duties as the center director, Connie also coordinates the bariatric surgery program. She was the first nurse in the region who is certified by the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. Connie has extensive experience in nursing management and has a background in ICU, GI nursing and endoscopy. Connie is an affiliate member of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, the Medical Group Management Association and of the North Carolina Medical Group Manager’s.

Office Coordinator: Robert Hubbard

Robert is the office coordinator and supervisor at Carolinas Weight Management & Wellness Center. He leads the front office team and has several years of diverse managerial experience. Robert also serves on several community committees and coordinates all health fairs for the practice. Robert is a member of the Medical Group Management Association and of the North Carolina Medical Group Manager’s.



 


 

Support Services and Managed Care Coordinators: Lisa Green and Felicia Sudderth

Lisa Green is the support services coordinator. She has extensive experience with claims and insurance submissions. Lisa coordinates the insurance verification and pre-certification process for all patients in the bariatric surgery program.

Felicia is the managed health coordinator. She verifies insurance benefits and assists with surgical patient tracking. Felicia meets with all new surgical patients on their first visit to go over their specific insurance requirements.

Front Office Staff:

Yolanda and Melissa are patient access representatives and work at the front desk. They check in and register patients and assist patients with appointment scheduling. They are the first friendly faces that you see as you enter the practice!

Jocelyn works at the front desk at patient check out and assists patients with scheduling appointments. She is also the medical secretary for the medical providers.

Robin works at the front desk at patient check out and assists patients with scheduling appointments. She is the coder for the practice as well as the patient and customer support representative.

Regan is our medical records clerk and is responsible for our medical records department.

KJ is our live answer coordinator. She is the friendly, welcoming voice that most callers hear when they call the practice.
